TESLA (NYSE:TSLA) shares rose more than 13% on Friday after Tesla Motors Inc. shares rallied more than 14% on Thursday.
Tesla stock rose as much as 6.3% on Wednesday, its best performance since mid-September, and is up more than 20% since last summer.
Shares of Tesla are up more recently than the S&P 500 index, which is down more than 1% in the past month.
The shares are up almost 70% since Tesla launched the Model 3 sedan in late 2016, which has drawn praise for its efficiency and performance.
The vehicle is expected to go on sale in 2019.
